Have we beat the Mac OS X stuff to death yet?

Our previous OS X presentations got me interested, but still left me
slightly confused about Darwin, Fink, etc.

So I managed to get my hands on a new PowerBook at work. (long story)

I dual booted it with Ubuntu Linux, and ran into some hardware support
issues. (just like a new model x86 laptop :)

So I decided to try and get OSS running on OS X. I downloaded the
native Mac versions of Firefox and Thunderbird (nothing to it).

Then I downloaded/installed gcc & friends, and compiled some of my
personal programs I need.

Then I installed XFree86 and got X-Windows running in OS X, plus some
command line Fink OSS programs.

The only bad thing is I'm not sure I can connect the PowerBook to our
projector since it has a wide-aspect display (16x9).
