I tend to agree - without a video component I don't think most of the
content will have much, if any, value. But full-on video is both really
hard and probably ENOURMOUS. I think that a voice over of the presented
material - slides - would probably be useful. I was more thinking about
someone watching the thing on a computer than actually listening to it
on a traditional MP3 player. I can play streaming video on a Palm Treo
for instance, or on my laptop (both things I'd consider to be
"computers").

BUT if someone wants to forge ahead with just audio recordings I'm
certainly not going to stand in there way; I could be wrong regarding
the value of the content.

:) I think most words-in-ap-row documents prepared for the web are
total crap and generally very "lite". They often make we wonder if the
author has EVER used the technology in a real world/work situation -
which always introduces myriad little intricacies. Some of the best
stuff at meetings, IMHO, often comes from the questions the audience
asks which is something you almost never get from an article. There I
think even just the audio of a meeting is more valuable than an article.

They might be useful to re-hear for someone who was AT the meeting.

Ditto.
