[Speakers] catching up

I just realized why I haven't seen much activity on the speakers' list.
I thought I had subscribed several weeks back--must have been some other
list or I must have screwed it up somehow. I just read through the
February posts. 

What I've been thinking of doing was to look at styles and templates in
Word and OO.o Writer: Taking Control, or, Life after "Reveal Codes."

I don't know about others, but my wife and I are constantly being
frustrated by these programs insisting on doing something we don't want.
Having grown up on Word Perfect's alt-f4 reveal codes, I never was able
to figure out what was going on. A few explorations on various forums
have given me some idea of how to figure out what's going on. There
needs to be a whole different way of thinking about formatting a
document. I'm thinking of spending the time to nail this (for both Word
and Writer as well as for going between them) and then sharing it in a
presentation.  

If this sounds reasonable or useful, it probably should be some time
after the other, already-scheduled OO.o presentations.
